We're the people you call before you sign.
When a show is too large, too technical or too international for the team that has to deliver it, we come in early — while the deal is still being shaped — and make sure what's being promised can actually be built, staffed and paid for. Then we hand it over running.
WHAT WE DO
Before the contract.
Feasibility, cost modelling and scenario work while the business case is still open. We've built the numbers behind stadium tours, touring sports properties, immersive exhibits and festival models — the work that tells you whether to sign, and at what price.
Through procurement.
Vendor strategy, bid packages and competitive selection. On a recent European stadium tour we ran a three-way comparison on a €5M+ technical package and found seven figures of difference between suppliers offering the same result.
Into delivery. Owner's-representative production management. We hold the budget, the vendor relationships and the delivery date in one pair of hands, and answer to the person who signed the cheque.
Around the edges. Crowd safety, emergency planning and event management plans — including NHL playoff operations, stadium brand activations and a festival in Saudi Arabia.
And afterwards. Operational design and handover. Org charts, SOPs, crew structures — the documentation that lets someone else run it without us.

About Mode of Production
Our Experience
Mode of Production is Tyler Scollon.
Twenty years in live production — eleven of them with Cirque du Soleil, on the road and then as a Project Director delivering new venues and new markets. The rest building and delivering shows for promoters, venues, brands and IP owners across Europe, North America and the Middle East. When the industry stopped in 2020, I took an Executive MBA and came back doing a different job: less clipboard, more business case.
What I'm best at is the first time. The tour that hasn't run, the venue that hasn't opened, the model nobody has costed. I'll build it, prove it works, and hand it to the people who'll run it every day.
